Pacific Group Hosts Charity Volleyball Event in Huntington Beach

Pacific Group recently spent a perfect Saturday at Huntington Beach enjoying some rest and relaxation and donating to our favorite charity, Operation Smile.  Operation Smile is a non-profit organization founded in 1982.  The organization is an international charity providing surgeries to children born with cleft lips.   Since inception, Operation Smile has worked with medical volunteers to provide more than 2 million patient evaluations and over 200,000 free surgeries for children and young adults born with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities.  Operation Smile is known as one of the most prominent children’s charities in the world and currently has a presence in over 60 countries.

We have pledged a goal of donating $1000 by August 2nd and with the help of our Beach Volleyball Fundraiser last weekend we have reached 92% of our goal!  A big thank you goes out to the Pacific Group team for their continued generosity towards this extremely worthy cause.  We would also like to give a big shout out to Elaine Abundis for organizing the event and getting to the beach at 8:00 am to insure that we had the perfect spot!

As August is steadily approaching, let’s keep coming up with ways to give and have fun while we do it!  At Pacific Group we want to help enrich the lives of our team members not just their wallets. We believe strongly in the words of Dr.Ben Carson, “Happiness doesn’t result from what we get, but from what we give.”

Client Invites PGA Team to Train With Executive Team

Last week Pacific Group Associates got a chance to meet with our client’s campaign support leaders in a 4 hour long event that included food, fun, prizes, challenges, videos, and of course a little bit of training straight from the client. PGA Executive Team is excited about growth opportunities, but was even more excited to let the team experience first hand how much support we have. “I am dealing with [client’s] management team everyday and am very confident that we will blow their expectations out of the water this year. I talk about how fortunate and thankful I am to have all the support, but tonight was an awesome opportunity for the team to see first hand how awesome our partnership really is,” said President Carl Uhl. Topics ranging from market growth goals of 2013 on the West Coast, to future expansion of product line were discussed during the meeting.

Employee Spotlight!!!

Pacific Group Associates is happy to announce that we will give weekly recognition to deserving crew members for exceptional performance in our new Employee Spotlight! We have been extremely busy since our expansion to Rancho Cucamonga to take over the Inland Empire market, and several members of the crew have really stepped up. But our first employee spotlight will be sales consultant Nathan Hayes. Nathan has received national recognition from our client for his consistent performance, including being ranked in the top 5 nationally for the previous 2 weeks. “Nathan is the first person to the office and stays until the job is done. He has been a top trainer for our new team members, always going out of his way to make sure the team hits its goals” says President Carl Uhl. Way to go Nathan keep up the great work and congrats for being our first crew member being featured in our employee spotlight!

Pacific Group Associates Makes Plans For Expansion

Pacific Group Associates SD has just opened for business and executives are already talking about expansion.   The company opened its doors at the end of May in 2011.  After doubling in size within the first 2 weeks, President of Pacific Group, Carl Uhl, is already talking about expanding the company.

Pacific Group Associates SD is a marketing and sales firm located in San Diego.  The company offers client acquisition services to national companies.  In this process, the company first establishes a contract with a national service provider.  Once the contract is established, Pacific Group Associates SD acts as the middle man between the service provider and its business account holders.  Pacific Group Associates SD then handles all business account representation, acquisition, retention and account negotiation.  According to Uhl, this allows for account holders to get more one on one attention that they normally would not get from such a large service provider.

“When we started the company, I immediately hired eight representatives that I knew had a track record of hard work and great results.  Once we began working with our first client, we knew we had a lot of room to grow,” explains Uhl. “Since our service can benefit any large company that needs to increase clientele and improve retention of those accounts, we expect to be large enough to take on another two clients in the next 16 months and expand to another four locations within another couple of years.  We will continue to grow from there.”

While the style of business to business negotiations is not new, the company claims to have a higher caliber of representation which is allowing them to grow at such a rapid pace.  Uhl explains that the company does not plan to stop growing any time soon.
